I’m Eli Peach, & I like to make things sound Peachey.
Growing up in a family of 10 with wild ‘n fun siblings Eli learned that they wanted to pursue the vast and creative world of theatre. With a passion for sound design and as a theatre artist, Eli has sound designed for the Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park Academy’s productions Zombie Prom, and Hairspray Jr., allowing them to hone the skill learned at home with their siblings-how to be productive and getting work completed while managing littles who are learning from an enthusiastic and exciting coach. With this experience in mind, Eli also sound designed The Light Burns Blue, for StagePlay with the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center allowing him to still enjoy the chatter of little ones who had the opportunity to come to enjoy the show while getting to work with adults. Avila Theatre Company’s productions of Little Shop of Horrors, Talk Radio, Silent Sky, and Miss Nelson is Missing!, as well as working in the costume shop for Avila's productions of War of the Worlds, & Harvey. For Avila's production of Twenty20s, in addition to sound designing, Eli also was the Dramaturg, and a part of devising the piece. They have previously appeared on stage at Avila in These Shining Lives, Talk Radio, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and As You Like It. Eli was also a cast member in The Sin-Sational Mae West as part of the KC Fringe Festival. With a variety of experience working in different settings and different groups of people, as a theatre swiss army knife, if you will, Eli is a valuable asset to join your team!
